Pilot Killed in Fighter Jet Crash at Shaw Air Force Base, Officials Say

The pilot of a fighter jet was killed in a crash late Tuesday night, Air Force officials said. The F-16CM Fighting Falcon was on a routine training mission from Shaw Air Force Base in Sumter when it went down at about 11:30 p.m., officials said in a news release.
